Each day, the choice is yours: set out on two wheels or two feet. Our routes are tailored to your group’s needs, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every fitness level. Beyond the trails, you’ll dive into the rich cultural heritage of the region, seeing Arvika through the eyes of the locals who love it.

Stress-Free Travel: Round-trip scenic bus transportation from Oslo to Arvika.
Seamless Lodging: 6 nights at the historic Scandic Arvika (est. 1871).

Expertly Guided: Daily cycling, hiking, and a special canoeing expedition in the Glaskogen Nature Reserve.
The Itinerary
Sunday: Welcome! Pick-up in Oslo and scenic transport to Arvika. Settle in and enjoy a sunset lake swim (weather permitting).
Monday: Choice of Guided Hiking or Biking.
Tuesday: Hiking or Biking. Afternoon visit to Klässbols Linneväveri, the Royal Court Purveyor of linen and supplier to the Nobel Prize banquet.
Wednesday: A day on the water! Canoeing in Glaskogen Nature Reserve, followed by dinner at the vibrant Olssons Brygga.
Thursday: Hiking or Biking. Afternoon visit to the Rackstad Museum, home to Sweden’s most famous historic artist colony.
Friday: Hiking or Biking followed by a traditional, world-famous Swedish Midsummer celebration.
Saturday: Farewell breakfast and departure for Oslo.
Lodging & Dining
We stay at the Scandic Arvika, a charming boutique hotel in the heart of town. Choose between a private single room or sharing a double room with an old (or new!) friend.
A Taste of Värmland: In the evenings, we dine at the hotel’s renowned restaurant or at local waterfront favorites. Our lunches are the highlight of the day—delivered directly to us on the trail at scenic viewpoints. Prepared by our local chef, Mathias, these meals are healthy, nutrition-rich, and use the finest local produce. We happily accommodate all food allergies and dietary restrictions.
Pricing
Double Occupancy: $3,580 per person
Single Room: $3,700
Bike Rental: $125 for the week (if you prefer not to bring your own). We use Trek and Focus MTBs from Nysäters Cyklar och Service, a local company, to ensure that you'll get an expertly maintained bike that suits the type of bicycling you'll experience.
